Courtney Monsma
Courtney Monsma

Courtney graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre.

She appeared as Katherine Howard in SIX The Musical at Sydney Opera House.

Prior to this, Courtney performed in the Australasian tour of Disney’s Aladdin while understudying the role of Princess Jasmine and in the Australian tour of MAMMA MIA! as well as understudying the role of Sophie.

Courtney has also appeared in Opera Queensland’s Kiss Me Kate and was a 2018 finalist for the prestigious Rob Guest Endowment Award.

Jemma Rix

Jemma Rix is one of Australia’s most prominent leading ladies of musical theatre. She is best known for her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked, touring throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Jemma most recently starred in the role of Lucy Harris, opposite Anthony Warlow, in Jekyll and Hyde in Concert.

Other leading roles include Molly Jenson in Ghost, the Musical, Teen Angel in Grease and the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, for which she received a Helpmann Award nomination.

She also toured Australia as the Alternate Eva Peron in Gordon Frost and Opera Australia’s production of Evita.

Matt Lee

Matt Lee has starred in stage and screen productions all over the world for the last 25 years.

Matt’s stage credits include roles in RENT, Grease: The Arena Spectacular, Oh! What a Night, Miss Saigon, Hot Shoe Shuffle, The Witches of Eastwick, Hugh Jackman’s: The Boy From OZ, Singin’ in the Rain and We Will Rock You.

Matt is perhaps best known for his Helpmann Award-winning performance in the role of Bert in Mary Poppins (Disney/Cameron Macintosh) in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

On screen, Matt played Johnno in Dein Perry’s film BOOTMEN, was a part of the principal motion capture team on the Oscar-winning film Happy Feet and is often recognised for his Logie-nominated role on the judging panel for television’s So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

Thomas McGuane

Born and raised in regional Victoria, Thomas is a graduate from Victorian College of the Arts (BFA, Music Theatre).

Whilst at the VCA, he played Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, appeared as a featured soloist for Morning Melodies, Arts Centre Melbourne and was the recipient of the Cassidy Bequest Scholarship based on merit in the three disciplines of acting, singing, and dance.

Since graduating, he performed the role of Randall in the Australian premiere of Bring It On (David Venn Enterprises) and Bob Gaudio in the national tour of Jersey Boys (Jersey Boys Productions) for which he won the GLUG award for Most Outstanding Performance by a Newcomer.

Thomas was also a finalist for the 2017 Rob Guest Endowment Award.

Sean Sinclair

Sean graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney with a Bachelor of Music.

Most recently he was seen in Disney’s Aladdin where he understudied the roles of Aladdin and Babkak.  He was also a Swing and Dance Captain in the Australian production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Sean is also a member of the internationally famed group The Tap Pack with whom he has travelled extensively, including their Beijing and USA tours.
Other credits include: Universal Studios Singapore and Japan and lead production vocalist for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Aljin Abella

A NIDA graduate and three-time Green Room Award nominee, Aljin was most recently in Shakespeare in Love (Melbourne Theatre Company), The Temple (Malthouse Theatre) and musical extravaganza Aladdin (Disney).

Previous career highlights include The Good Person of Szechuan (Malthouse Theatre), Monkey Journey to The West (Bell Shakespeare/Theatre of Image), Anything Goes (GFO/Opera Australia) and La Cage Aux Folles (The Production Company).

Aljin has appeared in feature films’ Ali’s Wedding (2017) and I Love You Too (2010). Television credits include Offspring, The Dr Blake Mysteries, Marco Polo, City Homicide, Neighbours and Power Rangers Jungle Fury, among others.

Aljin was nominated Best Lead Actor in a Comedy at the 2015 IAWTV and Raindance Independent Awards for the web series Hunter n Hornet.

Jonathan MacMillan

Jonathan Christopher MacMillan is best known for originating the role of the Goose and Topthorn (head) in the Tony Award winning Broadway production of War Horse. Last year he could be seen puppeteering King Kong in the Broadway musical of the same name.

Previously, Jonathan was suit captain of Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular where he performed as Baby T-Rex in over 30 countries worldwide. He is also a highly regarded puppeteer performing at festivals throughout Australia (most recently the Moomba Festival, Rockhampton River Festival and White Night Festival), and a regular puppeteer for Australian puppet companies Dead Puppet Society, Snuff Puppets and A Blanck Canvas.

Lochie McIntyre

Lochie has been training and performing since the age of 5, becoming proficient in all styles of dance, as well as specialising in acrobatics and circus arts.

At the age of 10, Lochie began his training at Lee Academy. In 2019 after finishing high school, Lochie commenced training at Lee Academy Fulltime, completing 2019 with his Certificate IV in Dance.

Lochie is very excited to make his musical theatre debut with Frozen and is eager to grow as a performer and artist. Lochie wishes to dedicate his performances to all his loved ones that have supported him and continue to be a part of his journey.

Miranda Ferrigno

Miranda is 11 years of age. She trains in different dance styles at May Downs School of Dance and has vocal coaching with Ian Nisbet. Miranda’s previous work includes; Toyota (TVC); Molly-Western Arts’ Annie; Gretl-Babirra’s Sound of Music and Hei Hei-Artzmartz’s Moana Jr. In her spare time, Miranda plays the violin and drums, participates in Eisteddfods, singing competitions and enjoys going to the football.

This is Miranda’s professional debut and she is beyond thrilled to be joining the Frozen Family on this National Tour. Thanks to Talentbox Agency, Zac Mistri, her family, especially big sister Chloe and of course Disney and the Frozen Team for this amazing opportunity.

Makayla Healy

Makayla is 11yrs old and thrilled to be making her professional musical theatre debut in Disney’s Frozen the Musical.

Passionate about singing and dancing from a very young age, Makayla commenced classical ballet training age 2yrs and has been training in all styles of dance for the past 6 years with Independent Dance Studios. It is here, under the guidance of her teachers, where she has further developed her passion and love for musical theatre. Makayla has also been pursuing her love of singing attending vocal lessons with Jaanz International Singing Academy for the past 3.5yrs.

Amya Mollison

Amya is excited to be joining the cast of Frozen the Musical in the role of Young Elsa for her professional musical theatre debut!  Amya began training in all styles of dance and singing at age 4 at the Michelle Slater Performing Arts Studio.  She has an enormous love for musical theatre and hopes to one day fulfil her dream of performing on Broadway. Amya has modelled for many fashion brands and appeared in print and in-store campaigns for some of Australia’s biggest brands. Amya would like to thank her family, friends and teachers for their support and hopes you enjoy the show.

Samara Wheeler

Samara Wheeler is a trained theatre and television performer who has trained with Stage Door Academy, Vocal Success Studios and Stagework.

Prior to this, Samara performed in “The King and I” with the Gold Coast Little Theatre and will be seen later this year in the Nickelodeon produced television series Rock Island Mysteries as Young Taylor.

Marli Lee

Marli is extremely excited to be making her professional debut in Frozen the Musical.

Marli is 9 years old and has been training in all styles of dance since 2 years of age at Sharon Lawrence Dancers. It is here that Marli found her love for musical theatre. Marli also attends private acrobatics coaching with The Zone Academy and private coaching with Mitchell Fistrovic-Doidge.

Matilda Murray

Matilda (Tilly) is excited and honoured to make her professional musical theatre debut in Frozen.

Matilda is 8 years of age, trains at the Conroy Dance Centre in ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, singing and acrobatics, and has private vocal coaching with Jenny Howlett at ‘Master The Art’.
Matilda would like to thank Disney for this incredible opportunity, as well as her family, friends and teachers for their continued love and support.

Stella Partridge

Stella discovered her passion for dance at a young age, while watching her older sisters training in their classes. She began training at an advanced dance and vocal level at the age of 4 when she was accepted into the Elite Training and Elite Vocal Programs at The Dance Company in Melbourne. Stella is a National Champion dancer and vocalist and her performance credits include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (The Dance Company), Shrek the Musical (The Dance Company) and Alyssa Edwards’ Dancing Queen National Tour (In The Dark).

Stella is excited to be making her professional musical theatre debut in Disney’s Frozen the Musical.

Hunter Ribeiro
Hunter Ribeiro

Making her professional musical theatre debut in Frozen, Hunter is very grateful for the opportunity and the experience she has been given.  She began dancing at three years of age and in 2017 joined the May Downs School of Dance, where she now trains in singing, drama and all styles of dance with her favourite being musical theatre.  Being represented by Casting Kids, Hunter has also had experience in Television, The Newsreader (ABC), How to Stay Married (Network Ten) and Commercials (Difflam).

Along with her passion for performing Hunter enjoys swimming and playing Futsal (indoor soccer).  She would like take this opportunity to thank her Mum and Dad, family and friends for their continued love and support.

Jakob Ambrose

Since graduating from WAAPA in 2011, Jakob’s stage credits have included the Australian tour of A Chorus Line (TML), The Addams Family (New Theatricals), The Producers and Pirates of Penzance for The Production Company and Cats (RUG).

In 2015 Jakob performed in the Hayes Theatre’s acclaimed Sweet Charity and Heathers the Musical, subsequently touring with both productions. In 2016, Jakob became an original Australian cast member of Disney’s Aladdin and in 2018 toured Australia in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Michael Cassel Group). Most recently, Jakob played Chino in Opera Australia’s West Side Story on Sydney Harbour and made his MTC debut in Dean Bryant’s Kiss of the Spider Woman.

Justin Anderson

Justin’s musical theatre career began at the young age of 12 performing in Cameron Mackintosh’s Oliver! (Cameron Mackintosh).

Most recently Justin toured Australia with the cast of Billy Elliot (LWAA).

Virgina Cashmere
Virginia Cashmere

Virginia started her performing career as a young child, appearing in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s 2007 production of The Ghost Writer, and the Melbourne Theatre Company’s 2008 production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Virginia’s first Music Theatre credit was at the age of 11, where she played Young Lisa in the musical Moonshadow at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne.

Virginia is a 2021 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) and she is thrilled to be making her adult professional debut in Frozen.

Matt Cranleigh

Hailing from New Zealand, Matt began his career as Sean on ABC’s Dance Academy, and notable screen credits include Home & Away and The Great Gatsby.

Following time on screen in London, Matt’s career found its way back to its childhood roots in musical theatre as he worked in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore with Disney and Universal, and as a principal vocalist with Princess Cruises.

Matt most recently appeared as Bob Gaudio in the New Zealand tour of Jersey Boys.

Sage Douglas

From Melbourne, Sage began her training at Centrestage PAS and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) from WAAPA in 2010. She most recently appeared as Emma Goldman in The Production Company’s much acclaimed final work Ragtime. Other credits include: Val in A Chorus Line (TML Productions), Dorothy Parker/Ethel Peas in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anybodys in West Side Story (TPC), Jersey Boys (New Theatricals Australian tour), The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch/Aunt Em cover – GFO), A Fine Romance, Jesus Christ Superstar, Funny Girl, Heathers (Showqueen Productions), Nine, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Loving Repeating, and The Damned (BSSTC).

Nicholas Eaton

Nicholas trained at Brent Street Studios and has recently been performing in Kiss of the Spider Woman for Melbourne Theatre Company.

Nicholas has a long-term relationship with Disney Theatrical Productions having previously toured with the Australian productions of Aladdin and Mary Poppins. Other theatre credits: Cats (RUG), Ghost (GWB), The Rocky Horror Show (GFO/Ambassador Theatre Group), South Pacific, Kilworth House Theatre, UK, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Singin’ In The Rain and The Boyfriend (The Production Company) and Joey – Heart in War Horse (War Horse Productions).

As a vocalist, Nicholas has performed for Twisted Broadway, The New Sounds Project at The Butterfly Club and as lead singer in 80s cover band Stand & Deliver.

Samm Hagen

Samm is best known for her performance as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical, for which she received a Green Room Award nomination. Her other credits include Diva in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Pat in Kinky Boots, both for Michael Cassel Group, a Molly cover for Ghost (GWB), Ann alternate for King Kong: Live on Stage, Rock of Ages (New Theatricals), Rock Rhapsody: Music of Queen, Spiegelicious, Rhythm of Life, All Aboard and the new Australian musical Jack Frost playing Violet Flowers. Along with her cast mates Samm received a Green Room Award for Best Ensemble in Rock of Ages, was a Rob Guest Top 6 finalist, and was also a featured vocalist in Legends in Concert at Crown Casino.

Jayme-Lee Hanekom

Jayme-Lee’s musical theatre career began in Disney’s The Lion King playing the role of Young Nala in 2005.

Jayme-Lee then trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and completed a Diploma of Music Theatre at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance.

Most recently Jayme-Lee played Violet Beauregard in Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Other credits include: The Book of Mormon (GFO) understudying Nabalungi, Stage Art’s In The Heights and Celie in Stage Art’s Australasian Premiere of The Color Purple for which she was nominated for a Green Room Award.

Jayme-Lee also toured Australia as Zuma with Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol Live! and was the Leading Lady in Jason Coleman’s Cabaret Cathedral.

Amy Hopwood
Amy Hopwood

Amy has been training at Patrick School of the Arts since 2013 having completed the Academy, Elite, Musical Theatre (1st year) under the direction of Andrew Hallsworth and Performing Arts (2nd & 3rd year) programs. She has trained in all styles of dance and trained vocally with Amanda Colliver and David Wisken.

Andrew Kroenert

Andrew is a seasoned Music Theatre performer appearing most recently in School of RockThe Musical (GWB). His career began as Buddy Holly in Buddy; The Buddy Holly Story (Showbiz Christchurch, LTPA); before going on to perform in Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang and Fiddler On The Roof (TML). He has appeared in several Production Company shows including Oklahoma!, Brigadoon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Show Boat, a member of the City 4 in City Of Angels (LLC) and appeared in the World Premiere of Dream Lover (GFO).

Andrew is an up and coming Musical Director, most recently working on Shakespeare in Love (MTC) and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Darlinghurst Theatre).

Jordan Malone

Jordan is a Brisbane born performer who graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre. Her QCGU credits include Charity in Sweet Charity, Frenchie in The Life, Diane in the national tour of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Dance Captain for the Conservatorium’s production of West Side Story, working alongside Australian choreographer Christopher Horsey.

Jordan most recently appeared in GFO’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and featured alongside Broadway’s Shoshana Bean and Australia’s Simon Burke at HOTA’s Secret Broadway. She made her Opera Queensland debut as a featured dancer in their production of Kiss Me Kate.

Hayley Martin

Originally from the Whitsundays, Hayley’s theatre credits include: June and u/s Velma Kelly in Chicago, u/s Magenta and u/s Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show (GFO/GWB), Dance Captain and Cha Cha in Grease – The Arena Experience, Singin’ In The Rain (Dainty), Hugh Jackman’s Broadway to Oz, u/s Erma in Anything Goes (GFO/ Opera Australia), Bolero Girl and u/s Gladys in Copacabana (UK tour), Monty Python Live (London, UK), King Kong (Global Creatures), Love Never Dies (RUG), Hairspray (Dainty), Crazy For You and Monty Python’s Spamalot (LWAA).

Hayley also holds a diploma in nutrition, is a certified yoga teacher and wellness advocate for young aspiring performers.

Imogen Moore

Originally from Hobart, Imogen is a VCA (BFA Music Theatre) graduate.

Most recently Imogen starred as Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show (John X Presents).

Other credits include: Janine in the national tour of Muriel’s Wedding (Global Creatures), Minnie Faye in Hello, Dolly!, Oklahoma! (The Production Company), Hope Harcourt understudy in Anything Goes (Opera Australia/John Frost), Disney Under the Stars (Live Nation), A Fine Romance: The Magic of Fred Astaire (JTM Productions), Rolling Thunder Vietnam (Blake Entertainment), Follies – In Concert (Storeyboard Entertainment), Avenue Q (Prince Moo), Scooby-Doo Live! Level Up and Musical Mysteries (Life Like Touring).

Imogen was a finalist in the Rob Guest Endowment 2017.

Sam Richardson

A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (2020), Sam is a Melbourne/Naarm based singer, actor and musician.

During his training, he performed as a featured soloist in ‘Morning Melodies 2019’ (dir. Jayde Kirchert) and graduated starring as ‘Joe Casey’ in Our House (dir. Tyran Parke).

Sam made his professional debut in the role of Gabe Goodman in James Terry Collective’s production of Next to Normal (dir. Mark Taylor). Other credits include Scarlet, the concept recording (DHB theatrical) and the Adventures of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell in return to Pantoland (Bonnie Lythgoe productions).

Sam is proudly represented by Ian White Management.

Amelia Sanzo

Adelaide born, Amelia trained extensively in all genres of theatre since the age of 5. At 17, she made the move to New York City after receiving a 12 month scholarship to train full-time at the Broadway Dance Centre.

Since returning to Australia, Amelia has been performing professionally most recently completing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 2022 Sydney Harbour production of The Phantom of the Opera (Opera Australia/HOSH). Other credits include the 2021 Australian tour of West Side Story (Opera Australia/GWB Entertainment)

Anthony Sheppard

Anthony is a graduate of The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor Degree in Music Theatre. Prior to the VCA, Anthony studied full-time dance at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, where he was involved in Main Season dance performances at the Malthouse Theatre. In 2014, Anthony made his professional debut in The Production Company’s La Cage Aux Folles and has also toured Australia, New Zealand and Singapore with the Disney production of Aladdin.  Other credits include Frank and Bryant’s The Silver Donkey (Melbourne Theatre Company, reading), AFL NAB Cup Grand Final (National Anthem Duet) and the feature film Knowing (Ezekiel Films, 2009).

Jesse Simpson

Jesse is 2021 graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

His WAAPA credits include: The Baker in Into the Woods, Dance Captain/Bobby understudy in Crazy for You and Nathan Starkey in Strictly Ballroom.

Prior to his theatre training, Jesse graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Imaging.

He is a multiple National and New Zealand champion in the styles of Ballroom and Latin American and has represented Australia at the British Championships twice.

His screen credits include: Neighbours, Wentworth and Jack Irish.

Jesse is thrilled to be making his professional theatre debut with Frozen and would like to thank everyone who has supported him in his endeavours so far.

Thalia Smith

Hailing from Dubbo in NSW, Thalia went on to complete the musical theatre course at VCA. In her graduating year Thalia played the lead role of Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street.

Thalia made her professional debut in We Will Rock You (GFO) as ensemble and understudying Scaramouche. She then took on the role of Cha Cha in Harvest Rain’s Grease and was thrilled to perform in The Production Company’s Hello Dolly!. Thalia most recently completed the Australian tours of Mamma Mia! (Louise Withers and Associates) and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (GFO).

Lucas van Rhijn

Lucas is one of Australia’s most exciting new artists to hit the Music Theatre Industry. Originally from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lucas is a graduate of both Brent Street Studios and the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).

Graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre), their VCA credits include: MongrelThe Hello Girls, and playing Oscar in Sweet Charity.

Lucas is incredibly honoured to be making his professional Music Theatre debut with Frozen.

Sophie Weiss

Sophie graduated from Monash University, Bachelor of Performing Arts after receiving her A.MUS.A on piano at 16 years of age.

Most recently Sophie has toured Australia, China and New Zealand with School Of Rock (GWB/RUG) covering the role of Rosalie Mullins.

Other credits include The Wizard Of Oz (GFO/RUG) – covering the Wicked Witch and Glinda. Merrily We Roll Along – Beth (Watch This), The Sound Of Music, understudying Baroness Schraeder and Sister Margaretta (GFO/RUG), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels understudying Christine Colgate (James Anthony Productions), The Full Monty – Georgie (StageArt), and Motherhood the Musical playing the role of Amy (HIT Productions).

Brendan Xavier

Brendan studied a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Musical Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music. During his time there Brendan appeared in numerous musicals, most notably playing Jack in Into the Woods directed by Tyran Parke.

Brendan has most recently completed a contract on board Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas as a Featured Vocalist.

Brendan’s previous theatre credits include The Original Grease (Squabbalogic) as Danny Zuko and in the 60th Anniversary concert of the Australian musical Lola Montez. He has also been accompanied by the wonderful Bev Kennedy for the concert Stars of Tomorrow at the City Recital Hall.
